Firstly,
I feel that I can have my say on the forum. Even though I can express
my views freely, I still have to be conscious with the word choice that I
used. This is because I may not know whether whatever I said, can
offend other people.
Secondly,
this online discussion experience is different from the face-to-face
in-class discussions because, we don't really have verbal communication.
Everything is non-verbal. Even though the message will still be
delivered across, sometimes we need to see the person face to really
feel what they are talking about. Hope it does make sense.=)
Lastly,
I find this online activity meaningful because I can connect with all
the different people and read what are their views at any point of time.
I can still refer to their posts at regardless of anywhere and anytime.
Sometimes I learn from other people experiences and what they got to
say.
